No strings attached, knowing me perfectly

Laugh with me
All for the same reasons that I do
I want you to understand this passion burning deep in my soul
For those with no voice
The young
The oppressed
The unborn
They tear my heart into about a billion pieces
I cry and yearn for their lives to be restored
I want them to have the same hope and freedom that I sometimes take for granted
I want them to know what love is
To know that they are wanted
To let others know that they are wanted
No more of this wickedness please!
They can't help but be in the midst of this
They have no choice
But we can help
We can fight
We can join forces and be their voice
Why not?
They need us
And we need them
